Gore is the eighth studio album by Deftones, the alternative metal band from the United States. It came out on 8 April 2016 on Reprise Records and followed Koi no Yokan from 2012. Critics received it warmly, and it entered the US Billboard 200 at number two. That made it the band's fifth top-ten debut and their highest-placed album on the chart since their self-titled record of 2003.

What makes it worth hearing is the push and pull at its centre. Frontman Chino Moreno and lead guitarist Stephen Carpenter pull in different directions, and Rolling Stone summed it up as Moreno playing Morrissey to the guitarist's Meshuggah. Heavy riffing meets dreamier, shoegaze-tinged atmosphere, and the friction between the two is a large part of the record's character.
