Sin After Sin is Judas Priest's third studio album, released on 8 April 1977 through CBS. It was their first record for a major label, and Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover produced it. Drummer Simon Phillips, a studio musician, took the stool in place of Alan Moore for the sessions, and this remains the only Priest album he played on.

It carries on the bold direction the band set out with Sad Wings of Destiny, and it points ahead too. "Let Us Prey/Call of the Priest" and "Dissident Aggressor" contain elements that would later become central to thrash and speed metal. The album was well received by critics and buyers, though it sits a little in the shadow of Sad Wings of Destiny and the follow-up, Stained Class. It is a good place to hear Priest sharpening their sound just before those records.
