Angel of Retribution is Judas Priest's fifteenth studio album, released on 1 March 2005. It marked the return of Rob Halford, who had not sung on a Priest record since Painkiller in 1990. The two albums in between, Jugulator and Demolition, were made with a different vocalist, so this one carried the weight of a reunion as well as a new set of songs.

Roy Z produced the record and co-wrote "Deal with the Devil". It entered the US Billboard 200 at No. 13, which makes it the fourth highest-charting Priest album there. It also won the 2005 Metal Hammer award for Best Album, and readers of Japan's Burrn! magazine named it Best Album of the Year and gave it Best Album Cover in their 2005 poll. Worth hearing for anyone curious how the classic voice sounded back in the fold.
