Down to the Bone

Down to the Bone is the eighth studio album by American glam metal band Quiet Riot, released on 1 March 1995 through Kamikaze Records. It followed Terrified from 1993 and came before Alive and Well in 1999, so it sits in the band's lean stretch between their 1980s peak and their later run of records.

The album was recorded around Los Angeles, at Ocean Studios in Burbank, The Track House in Van Nuys and Paramount Studios in Hollywood. For anyone following the band beyond Metal Health and Condition Critical, it shows where Quiet Riot stood in the mid-1990s, still making straightforward heavy metal records on an independent label.
