Road Rage
Road Rage is the thirteenth studio album from Quiet Riot, released in August 2017 on Metal Frontier. It is the first record to feature James Durbin, an American Idol alumnus, on lead vocals, and it follows Quiet Riot 10 in the band's catalogue, with Hollywood Cowboys to come afterwards.
The story behind it is a bumpy one. The album was first recorded with Seann Nicols, formerly of Adler's Appetite and Icon, and pre-orders opened in March 2017 with "The Seeker" as the taster track. When Nicols left the band that month, the release was held back so Durbin could replace his vocals and lyrics, and "The Seeker" was pulled for good. The video for the single "Can't Get Enough", directed by Regina Russell Banali, arrived in July. It's a heavy metal record worth hearing for Durbin's debut with the band.
