Condition Critical

Condition Critical is the fourth studio album by American glam metal band Quiet Riot, released on 16 July 1984 on Epic. It followed Metal Health from 1983, and it couldn't match that record's critical and commercial success. It still sold over a million copies and reached No. 15 on the US Billboard 200.

The band repeated a trick from its predecessor by placing a Slade cover second in the running order, this time "Mama Weer All Crazee Now", where before it had been "Cum On Feel the Noize". Videos were made for that song and for "Party All Night", and both got some airplay on TV. The masked figure from the last sleeve returns on the cover and in both clips, and he went on to appear on many later Quiet Riot covers as the band's mascot. Look out, too, for "Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet", which shares its title with the original American name of Slade's 1974 album Old New Borrowed and Blue.
