Point of Entry is the seventh studio album from Judas Priest, the English heavy metal band, released in February 1981 on Columbia. It arrived straight after British Steel, the record that had brought the band their biggest commercial success so far, and it is the sound of Priest deliberately leaning towards a more radio-friendly style rather than simply repeating that formula.

The recording is a story in itself. With the band now better off, they flew all their gear out to the Ibiza Studios in Spain, a state-of-the-art facility, once the British Steel Tour had wrapped up. The result is a louder, stronger and more live-sounding record than anything they had made before. It's a useful stop between British Steel and Screaming for Vengeance, and worth hearing for how Priest sounded when they put accessibility and a big room sound first.
