Manifesto of Arch Enemy
Manifesto of Arch Enemy is a compilation from the Swedish melodic death metal band, released on 27 February 2009 through Century Media. It is a compact overview of the group's mid-period, taking two songs each from four studio albums: Wages of Sin, Anthems of Rebellion, Doomsday Machine and Rise of the Tyrant.
The tenth track pair comes from the live album Tyrants of the Rising Sun, so the collection also offers a taste of the band on stage. It leaves out the earliest records, Black Earth, Stigmata and Burning Bridges, which makes it a handy way in for anyone who wants to hear how the band sounded across the 2000s before exploring the full albums.
