Resentment Is Always Seismic – A Final Throw of Throes
Napalm Death's Resentment Is Always Seismic – A Final Throw of Throes is an EP released on 11 February 2022 through Century Media. It sits in the grindcore and extreme metal territory the band have occupied since their start.
The title points back to Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism, the studio album from 2020, and the EP works as a follow-up to that record. It arrived between that album and Savage Imperial Death March in 2025, so it is a useful stop-gap in the band's later story. For anyone who has followed Napalm Death since Scum or From Enslavement to Obliteration, it is a chance to hear where the group were at in the early 2020s.
