Enemy of the Music Business
Enemy of the Music Business is the ninth studio album by Napalm Death, the British grindcore band, and it came out on 25 September 2000 through Dream Catcher. It follows Words From the Exit Wound and sits between the band's late-1990s run and Order of the Leech in 2002. The record blends grindcore with death metal and deathgrind.
It is also the last Napalm Death release to feature Jesse Pintado actually performing, which gives it a place in the band's history. Like its predecessor, it appeared only on CD until 2013. Secret Records later reissued it on CD, with the covers EP Leaders Not Followers added as bonus tracks, and on 180g vinyl. Kerrang placed it at number 19 on its list of the best 50 albums of 2000, a good reason to revisit it.
