Apex Predator – Easy Meat
Apex Predator – Easy Meat is the fifteenth studio album from Napalm Death, the British grindcore band. It came out on 23 January 2015 through Century Media and followed Utilitarian from 2012. The band recorded it in segments, which stretched the process to almost a year. Ahead of release, they shared the artwork, the track listing and two new songs, and the first video from the record arrived to coincide with its launch.
Reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and the album entered a number of American and European charts. Rolling Stone placed it among the best 20 metal albums of 2015. For anyone who has followed the band since the 1980s, it shows a group still working at full intensity well into its third decade of making records, and it is a good place to catch up with their later work.
