The Day Is My Enemy
The Day Is My Enemy is the sixth studio album by the Prodigy, the English electronic group. It came out on 30 March 2015 through Take Me to the Hospital and Cooking Vinyl in the UK, and through Three Six Zero Music and Warner Bros. Records in the United States. Its title borrows a line from Cole Porter's "All Through the Night", though it was Ella Fitzgerald's version of the song that first inspired the title track.
It sits between Invaders Must Die and No Tourists, and it took four years to record. That makes it the first Prodigy album where Maxim and Keith Flint played an active part in the songwriting, which is a good reason to hear it. With the band said to be uninterested in making albums, it was widely expected to be their last, but they signed a new publishing deal in 2017 and followed it with No Tourists in 2018. Expect breakbeat, electronic and electronic rock.
