Soul Destruction is the second studio album from Scottish rock band The Almighty, and their third release overall. Polydor put it out in March 1991, and it climbed to number 22 on the British album chart. Frontman Ricky Warwick said the songs circled four subjects: hate, love, religion and sex. Three singles followed that year, "Free 'n' Easy", "Devil's Toy" and "Little Lost Sometimes".

It also marks the end of an era for the band, as the last record with founding guitarist Tantrum, before Alice Cooper guitarist Pete Friesen arrived ahead of Powertrippin'. Japanese pressings added a Sex Pistols cover, "Bodies", and an acoustic take on "Hell to Pay", both first heard as B-sides. A 2015 Deluxe Edition from Spinefarm gathers all the single B-sides on a second disc, which makes it a handy way into the band's early sound.
