Entreat
Entreat is a live album by the Cure, recorded at Wembley Arena in London in July 1989 during the Prayer tour. It draws entirely on that year's studio album Disintegration, so it works as a concert document of one record rather than a career overview. Released in 1991 on Polydor, it sits between Disintegration and the band's next studio album, Wish, in 1992.
Its route to the shops was unusual. It first appeared in France as a promotional item in 1989, then HMV stores in the UK and Ireland gave it away in May 1990 to customers who bought two CDs from the band's back catalogue. A full commercial release followed in 1991. Some of its tracks also turned up as B-sides, and in 2010 Robert Smith remixed it as Entreat Plus, adding the four songs left off the original so that all twelve Disintegration tracks were included.
