The Power EP is a short release from The Almighty, issued in 1990 on Polydor. It arrived between the band's debut album, Blood, Fire & Love, which came out in 1989, and its follow-up, Soul Destruction, released in 1991.
That places it in the early stretch of the band's career, a stopgap between the first two full-length records. For anyone tracing how The Almighty moved from their opening album to the second one, it is a useful marker along the way.
