Adrenalize
Adrenalize is Def Leppard's fifth studio album, released through Mercury Records in March 1992. It follows Hysteria in the band's story and is the first made without guitarist Steve Clark, who died in 1991. Most of the songs had been written and partly demoed before his death, but they were largely re-recorded, with Phil Collen playing all the guitar parts. It remains the only Def Leppard album made by the band as a four-piece.
Clark still has writing credits on six of the ten tracks, and "White Lightning" is dedicated to his memory. Six singles were issued, and four of them were major hits: "Let's Get Rocked", "Make Love Like a Man", "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad" and "Stand Up (Kick Love into Motion)". "Tear It Down" is a fresh recording of a song first heard as the B-side to "Women" in 1987.
