Lean Into It
Lean Into It is the second studio album by the American band Mr. Big, released on 26 March 1991 through Atlantic. It followed their 1989 self-titled debut and became their breakthrough, reaching number 15 on the Billboard 200. "To Be with You" gave the band their only number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the follow-up single, "Just Take My Heart", climbed to number 16.
The record is worth hearing for the range it covers, from hard rock to acoustic and pop-leaning rock. "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy" is the showpiece: Gilbert and Sheehan ran Makita cordless drills along their guitar strings in harmony for a solo too fast to play by hand. The cover photo shows the Montparnasse train accident of 1895. Rolling Stone placed the album at number 49 in its list of the 50 greatest hair metal albums.
