Ghosts VI: Locusts
Ghosts VI: Locusts is an ambient album from Nine Inch Nails, released on 26 March 2020 through The Null Corporation. It arrived as a free download, offered as a gesture of solidarity with fans during the COVID-19 pandemic, and appeared at the same time as its companion, Ghosts V: Together.
It is the eleventh studio album by the American industrial rock band and the third release in the Ghosts series, following Ghosts I–IV from 2008. For listeners who know Nine Inch Nails mainly for the abrasive side of Pretty Hate Machine or The Downward Spiral, it shows the band working in a quieter, atmospheric mode, and it makes a natural partner to the other Ghosts record issued that day.
