Halo I–IV
Halo I–IV is a vinyl box set from Nine Inch Nails, issued on 27 November 2015 for Black Friday Record Store Day. It gathers the earliest chapter of the band's recorded output in one package: the original 1989 version of their debut album, Pretty Hate Machine, pressed on 180-gram black vinyl, alongside the original 12-inch singles for "Down in It", "Head Like a Hole" and "Sin" on 120-gram black vinyl.
The title points to the first four catalogue numbers in the Nine Inch Nails discography, which tells you exactly what the set is for. It suits anyone who wants those early industrial and electronic recordings as they first appeared, before the band's later albums such as The Downward Spiral reshaped their story. Because it was a Record Store Day exclusive, it was made as a collector's item.
