Winger Live
Winger Live is a two-CD and DVD set recorded at the Galaxy Concert Theater in Santa Ana, California, during the band's 2007 US reunion tour. It came out in November 2007 on Frontiers Records, and the film was directed by Jack Edward Sawyers. The sleeve is a checkerboard grid of stills taken from the concert footage.
It arrived soon after IV, the 2006 comeback album, and it catches the line-up of Kip Winger, Reb Beach, Rod Morgenstein and John Roth running through the hits, some progressive jams and new songs from that record. The show was captured in a single unbroken take, so you get the evening as it played out. Keyboardist Cenk Eroglu, who appeared on IV, was not on stage for it.
