Aural 6
Aural 6 is a compilation EP from Counting Crows, released on 27 November 2008 through DGC Records. It gathers six songs drawn from several of the band's earlier albums, and it was a Best Buy exclusive, sold for $5.99.
It was one of a run of six-song EPs put out through the retailer for Black Friday in 2008. It arrived in the same year as the band's studio album Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings, so it works as a small, low-priced sampler of their alternative rock catalogue rather than a new chapter. A handy snapshot for anyone wanting a quick reminder of where the band had been.
