August and Everything After: Live at Town Hall
August and Everything After: Live at Town Hall is a live album and video from Counting Crows, released on 29 August 2011 on Eagle Records. It takes the band's 1993 debut, August and Everything After, and presents it in a concert setting, so it makes a natural companion piece to the studio original for anyone who has worn out that first record.
The DVD and Blu-ray editions carry extra weight in the band's story, as they are the first official live concert video the group had put out. Sitting between Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings from 2008 and Underwater Sunshine in 2012, it is a chance to see and hear the band return to the songs that introduced them, in a rock and alternative rock style that will feel familiar to anyone who grew up with the debut.
