Death on the Road
Death on the Road is a live Iron Maiden album, recorded at the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund, Germany, on 24 November 2003. It captures the band on the Dance of Death World Tour, which followed their 2003 studio album of that name. It came out on CD and vinyl on 29 August 2005, with a DVD version following on 6 February 2006.
For anyone who likes their Maiden in front of a crowd, it is a snapshot of the band in the years after their turn-of-the-millennium return, just before A Matter of Life and Death arrived in 2006. It did well across Europe, reaching number 5 in Finland, number 7 in Sweden and number 22 in the UK.
