Maiden Mania 80–87 is a compilation from Iron Maiden, issued through EMI in 1987. As the title suggests, it gathers material from the band's first phase, running from their self-titled debut in 1980 up to the mid-eighties.

It arrived between Somewhere in Time (1986) and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988), so it works as a pause for breath at the end of a very productive opening stretch that also took in Killers, The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind and Powerslave. For anyone wanting a single-disc way into those early years, or a snapshot of where the band stood before their next studio record, it fits the purpose.
