Third World Genocide
Third World Genocide is the sixth studio album by Nuclear Assault, a thrash metal band whose run began with Game Over in 1986. It came out in August 2005 on Steamhammer, with the UK and European release following on 29 August. It is a heavy metal and thrash record that ended a long silence, arriving after Something Wicked in 1993.
The record matters for the band's story because original bassist Dan Lilker returned for it, his first studio appearance since Out of Order in 1991. It stood as their last full studio album before they split in 2022, though four new songs followed on the 2015 EP Pounder. For anyone who loved their late-80s output, it is the sound of the band picking up again after twelve years.
