Pounder
Pounder is an EP by the thrash band Nuclear Assault, released on 1 June 2015 through Icarus Music. It was their first EP since Good Times, Bad Times in 1988, and their first studio recording since the album Third World Genocide in 2005.
For anyone following the band's story, it marks a return after a long gap in the studio. The group had built their catalogue with albums from Game Over in 1986 through to Something Wicked in 1993, and Pounder turned out to be the last new material they put out before they disbanded again in 2022. It is a short, late chapter, and worth hearing as the final word from a thrash name of the 1980s.
