The Electric Age
The Electric Age is the sixteenth studio album by Overkill, the thrash metal band whose run of records stretches back to Feel the Fire in 1985. It came out on 27 March 2012, and European listeners got it three days later through Nuclear Blast, while American fans had it through eOne Music.
The record follows Ironbound from 2010 and comes before White Devil Armory in 2014, so it sits right in the middle of the band's late-career stretch, when they were releasing albums at a steady pace. For anyone who knows Overkill from the older records and wants to hear how the band sounded in the early 2010s, it is a natural place to start.
