The Definitive Alice Cooper is a compilation released in March 2001 on Rhino. It is the international counterpart to Mascara & Monsters: The Best of Alice Cooper, the version prepared for the American market, and it was issued everywhere except the United States.

The two collections are close cousins. The track listing differs slightly and the front cover is different, but they share the same back cover, tray insert and disc image. It arrived in the same period as Brutal Planet from 2000 and Dragontown from 2001, so it makes a handy hard rock overview for anyone outside the US who wants a single-disc route into Cooper's catalogue.
