The Alice Cooper Show
The Alice Cooper Show is a live album recorded at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas on 19 and 20 August 1977, during the "King of the Silver Screen" tour of the United States. Warner Bros. Records put it out in December 1977, and it captures Cooper's stage act in the hard rock and heavy metal vein.
It arrived in the middle of a busy stretch for him, after Welcome to My Nightmare, Alice Cooper Goes to Hell and Lace and Whiskey, and just ahead of From the Inside in 1978. That makes it a useful snapshot of where he stood at the time. The record returned on CD in 1987, then digitally in 2005 and on 180-gram vinyl in 2013, so it is easy to track down if you want a document of his late-seventies shows.
