Alice Cooper Classicks

LabelEpic
Popularity29.2

Alice Cooper Classicks is a compilation released by Epic on 5 September 1995. It was put together to mark the end of Cooper's deal with the label, a spell that had covered three studio albums. Cooper himself came up with the title, which suits a man who has always enjoyed a bit of theatrical wordplay.

It works as a tidy snapshot of his Epic years rather than a full career survey, sitting in the hard rock and arena rock territory of that period. One track that sets it apart is "Fire", which had previously turned up only as a B-side. The album has since been reissued as a CD and DVD set, pairing Classicks with "Trashes the World", so fans can enjoy the songs on screen as well as on disc.
