A Fistful of Alice
A Fistful of Alice is a live album by Alice Cooper, released in July 1997 on Guardian Records. It was recorded the previous year at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and it arrived between the studio albums The Last Temptation and Brutal Planet. The closing track, "Is Anyone Home?", is a studio recording made specially for the release.
The guest list is the draw. Slash plays guitar on part of the record, returning a favour after Cooper appeared on "The Garden" from Guns N' Roses' Use Your Illusion I in 1991. Rob Zombie adds vocals and Sammy Hagar joins on guitar. Before "Desperado", Cooper tells the crowd it was written about Jim Morrison. The album was repackaged in 2005 as Live At Cabo Wabo '96, using the UK track listing.
