Dragontown is Alice Cooper's album of 18 September 2001, issued through Eagle Records. It follows Brutal Planet from 2000 and carries on in the same heavier vein, leaning on metal and industrial textures rather than the glossier hard rock of some of his earlier records. Together they make a darker, grittier pairing in his catalogue, and it sits just before The Eyes of Alice Cooper in 2003.

It was a quiet release commercially. It reached number 12 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and number 197 on the Billboard 200, and it was the first Cooper studio album to come without any singles. The Descent into Dragontown tour ran through 2001 and 2002, though only four of its songs were played, and just "Sex, Death and Money" and "Fantasy Man" lasted to the end. That rarity is part of the appeal for anyone wanting to hear a side of Cooper that rarely gets an airing.
