Lace and Whiskey is Alice Cooper's third solo studio album and the tenth under the Alice Cooper name overall. It came out on 29 April 1977 on Warner Bros. Records, following Welcome to My Nightmare in 1975 and Alice Cooper Goes to Hell in 1976.

The record sits in the hard rock and classic rock camp, with a pop rock streak running through it. It's worth hearing as the third step in Cooper's run of solo records, and it sits just before From the Inside in 1978. If you're tracing how his sound moved through the second half of the 1970s, this is the middle stop between the theatrical nightmares of the earlier albums and what came next.
