Album
Ironbound
Ironbound is the fifteenth studio album from the New Jersey thrash metal band Overkill, released on 29 January 2010. It arrived in Europe through Nuclear Blast, with a US release following on 9 February 2010 via eOne Music. It was the band's first record for Nuclear Blast, their current label.
It came more than two years after Immortalis, which appeared in the autumn of 2007, and it sits between that record and The Electric Age in a run of albums stretching back to Feel the Fire in 1985. For anyone following Overkill's long thrash story, it marks a new chapter on a new label, and it is a good place to hear the band at work in their fifth decade of history.
