Uncle Anesthesia is the fifth studio album by the American band Screaming Trees, released on 29 January 1991 through Epic Records. It arrived after Buzz Factory in 1989 and before Sweet Oblivion in 1992, and it sits in the band's catalogue as their first full-length for a major label. Its sound draws on rock, grunge and neo-psychedelia, and three of the four tracks from their earlier Epic release, Something About Today, were carried over onto it.

"Bed of Roses" was the single, reaching No. 23 on the Modern Rock charts. The band took the record out on a North American tour that included dates with Nirvana and Das Damen, with Dan Peters on drums for much of the run. It's a good place to hear Screaming Trees at the point where their psychedelic leanings met the heavier Seattle sound around them.
