Sing Sing Death House
Sing Sing Death House is the second studio album by The Distillers, the American punk rock band. It came out on Hellcat Records in 2002, following their self-titled debut from 2000 and arriving a year before Coral Fang, which completed their run of studio albums.
The record's best-known moment is "Seneca Falls", a song that nods to the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 and reached a wider audience when it turned up in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. For anyone who came to the band through that game, or through the later Coral Fang, this is the middle chapter worth going back to: a punk rock record with a bit of history tucked into its songwriting.
