The Distillers

The Distillers are an American punk rock band who formed in Los Angeles in 1998, led by the Australian vocalist and guitarist Brody Dalle. She co-wrote nearly every song on their three albums, played guitar and handled the lead vocals, which makes her the heart of the band's sound: raw, fast and unmistakably punk.

Their run began with The Distillers in 2000, followed by Sing Sing Death House in 2002 and Coral Fang in 2003. Coral Fang is the one most listeners reach for today, with the other two close behind. The band split in 2006, and Dalle and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua went on to form Spinnerette. The Distillers reformed in 2018. If you like Rancid, Bad Religion or the Misfits, they belong in your collection.
