Rising
Rising is the eleventh studio album by the American hard rock band Great White, released in March 2009. It was recorded over the winter of 2008 and finished in early 2009, with Michael Lardie handling the mixing, production and engineering. Every member of the band had a hand in the final mix, which gives the record a very much shared, hands-on feel.
In the band's story, it sits between Back to the Rhythm in 2007 and Elation in 2012, and it is the last album with long-time singer Jack Russell before the split that led to his own version of the band. For anyone who has followed Great White since the days of Once Bitten and …Twice Shy, it is worth hearing as the closing chapter of that vocal partnership on record.
