Let It Rock
Let It Rock is the eighth studio album by the American hard rock band Great White, released on 21 May 1996 through Victor. It follows 1994's Sail Away and sits between Psycho City and the late-1990s releases Can't Get There from Here and Stick It in the band's catalogue.
The record has a clear sense of purpose. Sail Away had leaned on an acoustic sound, and here the band set out to return to the hard rock roots that had defined them. It was also made after they parted ways with Alan Niven, their long-time manager and co-writer, so it marks a change behind the scenes as well as in the music. For anyone tracing Great White's story beyond their 1980s peak, it is a revealing stop: a band choosing to plug back in and rely on their own instincts.
