Album
Once Bitten
Once Bitten is Great White's third studio album, released on 17 June 1987 through Capitol Records. It arrived after Shot in the Dark and became the record that widened the band's audience, selling more than a million copies and going Platinum in April 1988. It was also the last album to feature bassist Lorne Black.
The big calling card is "Rock Me", an anthem that charted in September 1987 and remains one of their best-known songs. "Save Your Love" followed in February 1988, then their most famous power ballad. Fans also rate "Lady Red Light" and "All Over Now", both later picked for the Absolute Hits collection. UK listeners got a reshaped track list, with four new songs swapped for material from Shot in the Dark and a live "What Do You Do". It is a good place to hear the band's glam metal side at its most commercial.
