The Best of Great White
The Best of Great White is a compilation from the American hard rock band, released in 2000 on EMI-Capitol Music Special Markets. It gathers material from a group that had been recording since their 1983 debut, On Your Knees (The First LP).
The band's catalogue by then ran through Once Bitten in 1987, …Twice Shy in 1989 and a run of 1990s albums up to Can't Get There from Here and Stick It, both from 1999. In 2005 the collection was reissued by Madacy Records, another EMI subsidiary, under the title Rock Breakout Years: 1988. It suits listeners who want a straightforward overview of the band's hard rock rather than a deep dive into each studio record.
