Just Enough Education to Perform
Just Enough Education to Perform is the third studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released on 11 April 2001 through V2. It follows Word Gets Around and Performance and Cocktails, and it sits at the point where the band's run of hit records was well established. The title comes from a line in the song "Mr. Writer".
The record went to number one on the UK Albums Chart, with 140,000 copies sold, and produced three top-twenty singles: "Mr. Writer", "Have a Nice Day" and "Step on My Old Size Nines". Its sound blends rock, alternative rock and pop rock with a Britpop leaning. The album originally ran to eleven tracks. A 2002 re-release added "Handbags and Gladrags" once it had come out as a single, so it's worth checking which edition you have.
