Performance and Cocktails is the second studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released by V2 on 8 March 1999. It followed their debut, Word Gets Around, from 1997. The title was lifted from a lyric in the opening track, "Roll Up and Shine", a neat echo of the debut, which took its name from a line in that record's closing song.

The record sold well beyond expectations, though reviews at the time were mixed. That split makes it an interesting one to revisit. It sits at the point where the band moved from promising newcomers to a name people knew, in a guitar-led mix of alternative rock and Britpop. Riffology has both an article on the making of the album and a podcast episode, RIFF059, if you want the story behind it.
