Red Light - Green Light EP
The Red Light - Green Light EP is a short release from The Wildhearts, issued through EastWest on 17 June 1996. It arrived between the albums P.H.U.Q., from 1995, and Endless, Nameless, from 1997, so it belongs to a busy stretch in the band's early years on a major label.
Beyond that, it is best understood as a stopgap for those following the band closely, a small marker of where they stood after three studio albums and before the fourth. Anyone tracing the group's story from Earth vs. The Wildhearts onwards will want to place it in that sequence, and it makes a neat companion to the records on either side.
