The Wildhearts
The Wildhearts' self-titled record is the band's sixth studio album, released in April 2007 on Cargo Records. It followed The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed from 2003 and came before Stop Us If You've Heard This One Before, Vol. 1 in 2008, so it sits in the middle of the band's second run of records. It is a hard rock album.
The first single, "The Sweetest Song", was download-only and appeared two weeks ahead of the album. "The New Flesh" followed as the next single and was the first track from the record to get a video. If you want to revisit it, a remaster by Dave Draper with bonus tracks came out in January 2019, giving fans of the band a fresh way into this chapter of their story.
