The Wildhearts Strike Back
The Wildhearts Strike Back is a live album from the British rock band, put together from various shows on their UK tour between April and May 2004. Jase Edwards produced it, and Gut Records released it on 25 October 2004.
It arrived the year after The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed, the studio record that marked the band's return, so it works as a snapshot of them back on the road. Rather than a single night, it stitches together performances from across the tour. It reached number 18 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart, a fair sign that fans were keen to hear how the band sounded on stage again.
