21st Century Love Songs
21st Century Love Songs is the tenth studio album by the Wildhearts, released on 3 September 2021 by Graphite Records. It was recorded at the Old Cider Press in Pershore, Worcestershire, with Dave Draper producing. It arrived two years after Renaissance Men, which had ended a decade without a studio album, and it was the fourth to feature Ginger Wildheart, CJ Wildheart, Danny McCormack and Ritch Battersby together.
It did well, peaking at number 9 on the UK Albums Chart and giving the band their first top ten placing since P.H.U.Q. in 1995. Critics praised the quality of the songwriting and the range of styles on show. "Remember These Days", "Sort Your Fucking Shit Out" and "Sleepaway" were released as singles. It was also the band's last studio album before they split in 2022, ahead of their reformation in 2024, which gives it a particular place in their story.
