Horrorscope

Popularity52.8

Horrorscope is the fifth studio album by the thrash metal band Overkill, released on 3 September 1991 through Atlantic and Megaforce Records. It followed The Years of Decay from 1989, and Terry Date produced both records, so the partnership carried over from one album to the next.

It also marked a change in the band's line-up, as the first Overkill album to feature the guitar pairing of Merritt Gant and Rob Cannavino. It was the last to come out through Megaforce, though the band stayed with Atlantic until 1995. The sleeve has a small distinction too: the band's logo appears in orange rather than the green fans had seen before. For anyone tracing Overkill's thrash story, it is the record where a new guitar team steps in.
