!!!Fuck You!!!
!!!Fuck You!!! is a 1987 EP from New York thrash band Overkill. Its title track is a cover of the Subhumans song, and the rest of the release is five live recordings made at the Phantasy Theater in Cleveland, Ohio. It arrived the same year as their album Taking Over, and sits between Feel the Fire and Under the Influence in their run of studio records.
The packaging is half the fun. Cassette and CD copies came with reversible artwork: the shop-facing side was plain white with the band's logo, the title censored as !!!**** You!!! and the tagline "The Record THEY tried to ban". Fold the booklet or J-card the other way and the original cover appeared. One pressing even came in a black plastic bag. Long out of print and now rare, it was reissued in 1997 with extra tracks as !!!Fuck You!!! and Then Some.
