Wrecking Everything
Wrecking Everything is a live album from New York-area thrash band Overkill, released on 18 June 2002 through Spitfire Records. It was recorded at The Paramount in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on 23 March 2002, and it works as the audio companion to the video release Wrecking Everything – An Evening in Asbury Park, which came out on VHS and DVD.
It arrived between two studio records, Bloodletting from 2000 and Killbox 13 from 2003, so it catches the band at a point when they were well into their second decade of making thrash metal. If you want to hear Overkill in front of a home-region crowd, with the songs played at full tilt on stage, this is a good place to start, and the DVD is there if you want to see the night as well as hear it.
